What is UNEMI?

about-image

Universidad Estatal de Milagro (UNEMI) is a public higher education institution in Ecuador since 2001. Its mission focuses on training competent professionals, fostering proactive attitudes and ethical values. In addition, it is committed to conducting relevant research and offering services that respond to the needs of society.

What is FHD?

With its educational offerings, the Dresden University of Applied Sciences (FHD) makes an important contribution to coping with the constant changes and thus the development of the regional environment, Saxony and beyond. Qualified, practice-oriented and responsible graduates are trained on a scientific basis, who can independently develop and represent solutions to problems in all areas of society.
We advocate practical training and the opening of professional opportunities. We support the increasing diversity in the demand for educational opportunities by offering flexible forms of study. To this end, the FHD has established offerings of full-time, part-time and part-time study programs, in addition to continuing education offerings. In addition, we are developing procedures with improved permeability between vocational and academic education. In our teaching and learning programs, we are always guided by the latest teaching and learning methods and the requirements of practice, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises. International economic and social trends and perspectives are systematically taught and dealt with. This internationality in studies and teaching is reflected in the application-oriented research.
On a regional, national and international level, we cooperate with other universities, research institutions, companies as well as with partners from the public sector, with whom we develop practicable scientific solutions for regional issues. Interdisciplinary, interdepartmental learning, teaching and research as well as practice-oriented projects are an inherent part of our study programs. We develop and support cooperative, interdisciplinary thinking and acting of our students as a strategic success factor.
